Friendly Fuel Club LLC ("we," "us") runs friendlyfuelclub.com and the Friendly Fuel Club phone line, (802) 526-6220. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: email address, mobile phone number, name, and ZIP code or town.
- Your heating details, if you give them when you reserve a founding membership or set up alerts: the fuels you use, about how much, and the prices you want to be alerted at, the dealer you buy from now, if you tell us, so we can compare its prices with others that deliver to you and alert you, and how you heard about us.
- Consent records: when you sign up for email or texts, we record what you agreed to, when, the page you were on and your IP address, so we can show you asked for them.
- Membership details if you join the club: address, tank and fuel information, and payment details (processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers).
- Site usage data: pages visited and device type, collected through analytics and advertising cookies. You can turn these off with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. If you do, Google Analytics may still get basic signals without cookies, such as a page view, that don't identify you.
How we use it
- To send the price alerts, digests and club updates you signed up for.
- To run memberships, including sharing a member's delivery details with the dealer the member chose.
- To answer your messages.
- To improve the site and measure our advertising.
Text messages and mobile numbers
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the service providers that deliver our messages. See our SMS terms.
Who we share with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and club (hosting, email, text messaging, payments, analytics), with a member's chosen dealer as needed to deliver fuel, or when required by law. We may tell dealers how many households in a town are interested in the club, but not who they are. We never tell a dealer that you named them as your dealer. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email with the link in any message.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- Turn off analytics and advertising cookies with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. We also honor your browser's Global Privacy Control signal.
- Email us to see, correct or delete your information.
Keeping your information
We keep contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and membership records as long as required for tax and legal purposes.
